Dr. David J. Closs is the John H. McConnell Chaired Professor of Business Administration in the Department of Supply Chain Management at Michigan State University. Dr. Closs completed his MBA and Ph.D. at Michigan State in 1978 focusing on the topics of marketing, logistics and management science.Areas of expertise:

Dr. Yemisi Bolumole is an Associate Professor of Logistics at Michigan State University.  Dr. Bolumole received her Ph.D. in Logistics & Supply Chain Management from Cranfield University in the United Kingdom. She also holds a Master of Science in Energy Conservation and the Environment from Cranfield University and a Master of Arts in Business and Management from the University of East London.Areas of expertise:

Dr. Patricia J. Daugherty is Bowersox-Thull Chair and a Professor of Logistics at Michigan State University. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and her MBA from Western Michigan.  She earned her PH.D from Michigan State University in Marketing and LogisticsAreas of expertise:

Stanley GriffisDr. Stanley Griffis

Professor Griffis is a Professor of Logistics at Michigan State University.  Professor Griffis received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from The Ohio State University with a major in Logistics and a minor in Information Systems Management. He also holds a Master of Science in Logistics Management from the Air Force Institute of Technology, and a Master of Arts in Logistics from The Ohio State University.Areas of expertise:

Jason Miller  Dr. Jason Miller

Jason Miller is an Assistant Professor of Logistics at Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business. He received his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University.Areas of expertise:

  • Transportation safety, with special focus on motor carrier operations
  • Scaling and scoring of measurement instruments
