Seventeen members of Michigan State University’s Graduate Supply Chain Management Association (GSCMA) and two MSU Supply Chain Management Faculty (Dr. John Macdonald and Dr. Judith Whipple) recently toured the UPS Worldport Facility in Louisville, Kentucky and the Zappos Fulfillment Center in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. The tours were an excellent way for students to see world-class operations first hand and gain experiential knowledge on critical aspects of supply chain management. The tours were arranged by the GSCMA and financially supported by MSU’s Full-Time MBA program and the Department of Supply Chain Management. We greatly appreciate the hospitality of our hosts at UPS and Zappos!
